How a retail store is usually structured

A retail store is led by a store manager with an assistant manager, then supervisors for each department or shift, and sales associates on the floor. Visual merchandising and stockroom staff sit alongside the sales floor.

Chart shifts, not just roles

If supervisors rotate, show the key-holder or shift lead so associates know who can authorise refunds or open the safe.

Region above the store

In a chain, the store manager reports to a district or area manager. Add that card when the chart is used for onboarding.
