All organizational chart data you create in OrgFlow is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. This means:

• Your data never leaves your device
• We cannot access your organizational charts
• You have complete control over your data
• Data persists until you clear your browser data or delete charts manually

What We Collect

We collect minimal, anonymous analytics data to understand how OrgFlow is used and improve the service:

• Page views: Which pages you visit
• Feature usage: Which features you interact with
• Technical data: Browser type, device type, screen resolution

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, which respects user privacy and doesn't track personal information.

AI Features

When you use AI-powered features (such as organizational structure recommendations), we send your input to Vercel AI Gateway, which uses OpenAI's GPT-5-nano model. The data sent includes:

• Your specific query or request
• Context needed to generate recommendations

This data is processed according to OpenAI's and Vercel's privacy policies. We do not store the AI requests or responses on our servers.

Export and Sharing

When you export your org chart (PNG, PDF, SVG) or generate a shareable link:

• Exports: Files are generated locally in your browser
• Share links: Chart data is encoded in the URL itself (no server storage)

Share links contain your chart data in the URL. Anyone with the link can view your chart. Treat share links like you would any sensitive document.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies for:

• Analytics (Ahrefs Web Analytics)
• Remembering your preferences

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Your Rights

Because all your data is stored locally in your browser:

• You can delete your charts at any time from the "My Charts" page
• You can clear all OrgFlow data by clearing your browser storage
• You can export your charts before deleting them

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the bottom of this page.
